Simple Zucchini Italiano
A simple salad to accompany some simple poached salmon. Paying homage to the Italian flag, simply zucchini and red pepper, seasoned with saltie, peppie, oregano and olive oil. Bella!
Sans Caterpillar
Pan roasted Brussels Sprouts, starting with some rendered pancetta and olive oil. Salt, pepper and some fresh thyme. Delightful!
Lidia – Pasta Con Lenticche
I saw this on Lidia’s show, and wanted to try it. It’s so new that it is not on her web site yet, but I found a fan transcription at http://www.food.com/recipe/pasta-with-lentils-pasta-con-lenticche-lidia-bastianich-422506 It is needlessly complex, and I simplified it by cooking the pasta and doing everything else in a single pan.

It’s apparently “Treat Thursday”. Caffe Baci Milano pizza: arugula, prosciutto and parmesan. Awesome!
