Simple is best
Simple is best, KISS principle – whatever. Arugula, extra virgin olive oil, fresh lemon juice, salt and pepper. Parmesan cheese is optional. Just delightful. I miss Osteria di Tramonto.
Ok Ren, eat the nice vermin
Originally, this recipe was for vermicelli and clam sauce. Of course, in my hands it has transmogrified a bit. I miss Ren and Stimpy.
These are a few of my favorite things
A fantastic melange of goodness. Pasta, broccoli, Italian sausage, ceci, arugula with garlic and red pepper. Fat drained and a chicken broth sauce with Italian herbs. Fantastic.
Smashed Cauliflower
I got the recipe from the Novice Chef Blog (http://thenovicechefblog.com/?p=2523). Tasted pretty good for pretending to be mashed potatoes. It is a unique side dish and low in carbs.

Vegetable Dinner Supreme
Tonight’s thrown together dinner after the concert. Grapes. Zucchini with olive oil, salt and pepper. Ceci with olive oil and Penzey’s most-awesome Turkish seasoning. Some carrot sticks. A little bread and voila!
