Lunch in Gengenbach.
This is the Black Forest ham and brown bread platter that Maryann had. The eggs and tomatoes were really good. It was preceded by an excellent consommé containing pancake-like strips and matzoh like balls containing marrow. Yum.
This is the münster cheese and brown bread plate Karen had. There were also onions and caraway seeds.
Joe had the Jâgertoast, with Chantrelle mushrooms and bacon, covered in Raclette like cheese. Incredibly rich and delightful.
These beautiful golden yolked eggs were everywhere.
